Dive headfirst into the world of paramotoring with our intensive 10-Day Boot Camp. From the fundamentals of ground handling to taking that exhilarating solo flight, most of our students find themselves soaring the skies by the 4th day! This boot camp is a mix of hands-on practice, structured classroom sessions, and simulator exercises designed to sculpt you into a proficient paramotor pilot.
What's Included?
Comprehensive Training: Experience 10 full days of immersive training, from sunrise to sunset. Each day will involve ground handling (kiting), classroom sessions, paramotor simulator practice, a tandem flight, and solo flights. We use a step-by-step building block approach to ensure you master each skill before moving on to the next one.
Certifications & Syllabus: Get guided by the USPPA syllabus, setting the gold standard in paramotor training. Obtain the USPPA PPG 1 and PPG 2 ratings (though not mandatory, they are highly recommended).
Tandem Flight: Embark on a tandem flight, ensuring you grasp the basics before you venture solo.
Complimentary Resources: Receive a copy of the "Powered Paragliding Bible" by Jeff Goin - your comprehensive guide to everything paramotoring. Plus, gain exclusive access to the Bandarra Academy’s “Ground Handling Essentials” course, allowing you to jumpstart your learning even before you start the course.
Lifetime Support: We're committed to your flight journey. If you ever feel the need for a refresher or want to enhance your skills, you're welcome back to attend multiple courses at no added fee.
Endless Memories: Apart from skills, you'll take back a trove of exhilarating memories, friendships, and tales of airborne adventures!
Important Considerations:
Physical Requirements:
Weight limit: 250 lbs.
Must be able to sprint for approx. 10 seconds carrying 60 lbs.
Logistical Points:
This is a foot-launch-only training. For wheel-based training, please consider our session-based training. Attendees are responsible for their food and accommodation arrangements (hotel, Airbnb, etc.).
Intensity Warning: As the name suggests, our “Boot Camp” isn't a walk in the park. It demands grit, determination, and a whole lot of passion. Should you have concerns about the physical demands, we urge you to discuss them with our team to determine the best fit.
Welcome to a learning experience that bends to your schedule, not the other way around. Our Hybrid Sessions combine the convenience of online learning with hands-on, in-person training. Cover theory at your own pace through our online video modules, then schedule sessions with our expert instructors for the practical know-how. Tailored for the modern learner, this approach lets you balance work, life, and the dream of flight with ease.
What's Included?
Flexible Learning: Go through asynchronous online video modules to grasp the theory behind paramotoring.
Scheduled Hands-On Training: Opt for morning or evening sessions from Wednesday through Sunday, based on availability. Our training calendar allows you to book your slots at least three weeks in advance.

Our hybrid sessions can accommodate foot launch and wheel launch students. Contact us for details. Attendees are responsible for their food and accommodation arrangements (hotel, Airbnb, etc.).

Our training programs come with our school equipment at no extra charge, which includes the wing, paramotor, helmet, and other necessary gear. We advise our students to complete the training first and then make a gear purchase decision based on their interest and commitment to the sport.
If you're looking to buy new equipment, we're here to help. Students who have trained with us receive a discount, and we carry all major brands of paramotors and wings.
We offer training sessions at various locations in Utah, chosen based on weather and specific skill or task. The three most common locations are:
Cedar Valley Airport (Eagle Mountain, UT)
Point of the Mountain Flight Park (Draper, UT)
The Great Salt Lake (Magna, UT)
While we understand the appeal of discounts, it's important to note that our training programs involve significant operational expenses. From the wear and tear on high-quality equipment to the logistical costs of traveling to various training locations, we aim to provide the best experience without cutting corners. That said, we do offer discounts when you purchase new gear from us. We're committed to offering competitive pricing, and we firmly believe that the invaluable skills and safety protocols you'll acquire make the investment in our training worthwhile.
During training, unforeseen events such as bad weather can occur. However, our boot camp schedule has been designed to accommodate such situations by incorporating buffers. This guarantees that we can cover all the content as planned. In the case of sessions, we reschedule them whenever necessary. The advantage of session training is that it is flexible. If you have a scheduling conflict, you can easily cancel a session and arrange for another day.
Our boot camp courses come with a full refund option if you cancel your training before the course starts, up to one week in advance. After that, we will refund you the remaining amount minus a deposit of $500, depending on your specific case.
For session training, you can request a refund at any point before the first session starts. If you need a refund after that, we will calculate it based on the total of 12 sessions and prorate it accordingly.
At times, we may have pre-owned equipment in stock, or we can provide our school equipment at a significantly lower cost than its retail value. If you're interested in acquiring second-hand equipment, feel free to ask us about our available options. Additionally, if you come across used equipment online or elsewhere, we're here to offer impartial guidance to help you avoid any potential regrets later on.
Our training programs adhere to the USPPA (paramotor) or USHPA (paragliding) syllabus, ensuring a comprehensive and standardized learning experience. You can access the USPPA syllabus by clicking on this link. Throughout our training, you will learn about weather, turbulence, aerodynamics, pre-flight checks, emergency procedures, airspace, regulations, and numerous other topics that will enable you to become a skilled and safe pilot.
At our training facility, we utilize the Parajet Maverick frame, paired with either the Moster 185 or the Atom 80, depending on the student's weight. Our training wing of choice is the BGD Magic, which is a modern and safe glider that is ideal for learning. For our tandem flights, we use the P2F Fenix tandem trike, ensuring that there is no need for running. However, we may consider foot launch tandem flights on a case-by-case basis.
Can individuals with disabilities participate in our training programs? The answer is usually yes, but it depends on the specific disability. We have successfully trained students with a variety of physical disabilities by spending more one-on-one time and modifying gear if needed. Our session-based training is ideal for those with disabilities. Please reach out to us beforehand to discuss the details and develop a plan that suits your needs.
